John was his name given, and this was the name he went by, albeit, John was more of a title, than simply an earthly name.
He presented to my awareness, on what had been an otherwise uneventful day, yet this day was ordained for dialogue, and dialogue of the highest order.
As I soon enough discovered, he’d voyaged from Petra, before appearing at the great riverside. Somehow he knew it was there, there that our I’s were to meet.
His stature, it must be told, was unlike any other of mortal flesh, with a regal and divine presence, he was every bit as impressive as any royal blue sky.
As he approached me, staff in hand, the grandfather wind suddenly stirred, and the great grandson simultaneously burst. It was as though the heavens had descended from far up on high, and converged into a singular location upon the terra.
Perplexed as I was with it all, he then proceeded to address me from some distance, and curiously by correct name. He drew closer, entering the field of what had been my contemplation, and requested he sit beside me for a while.
With little but acquaintance made, there we sat, in dialogue at the water’s edge, and as time passed, it might have well enough, just stood still.
He told me many things as the hours passed that day, the kind of things one would be remiss not to remember.
He projected with forthright command, and with the potency of angelic tone. He was as the mentor and messenger to my most humble, and attentive self, elucidating about what kind of man to strive to be.
This is, but just some, of what he had to say to me.
~
“Great grandson that you are to me, let it be here, now, and forever told.
Angelic one, continue to make your life one lived in reverent devotional service, service to the all, that is the only truth.
You are as the Father, he who shields, protects, and honours the divine Mother, and so too, the dear children, and all of life that lives.
Be as you are in the highest of order, an emissary of the all, that through which, you came to be.
Be in your experience, the student unto the master, learn the ways, walk the path hand in hand in all ways, with the One.
Be that you are, nothing more, nothing less, and with this in-spirit, all obstacles shall you overcome.
Be upstanding, walk righteously, and elegantly, and never bow in fear of the shade. Man is born to stand strong, tall and proud, and be infallibly brave.
Never forget the toil of those who came before you, and recognise that the mantle belongs to you, your sisters, and your brothers now, so go forth, and restore the holy way.
Through the ascending passage you walk untethered, bound unto nothing other than virtue, to be the living expression of the love, the kindness, and the compassion.
With this grace, soon enough you will pass through a portal to liberation, becoming spiritually baptised. This, when you become the original reflection, the original intention, and the eternal promise of the One.”

This was my dialogue with John.
