Fare Thee Well

Fare thee well,

Bless you beloved son, beloved daughter,

Go well as you descend into the depths of this,

The long night to end all the fateful nights.

Walk by the omnipresent light that guides you,

Treading carefully yet forward courageously,

Fearlessly stepping through this,

The most prolific valley of all my valleys.

Trepidate not for the harrows of the vultures,

For it is I that will always be there alongside you,

As the eternal flame dancing within you,

A perpetual symphony stringing all of the angelic sounds.

Worry not over what is revealed in your midst,

Nor judge not that which you leave in your wake,

For the noble path was one you had so chosen,

With the promise of being all there is to be.

Soon enough by spirit you will come to realise,

That this was always your heroic destiny,

As you valiantly traversed the passing of the eons,

Completion comes, and this you will unequivocally see.

So bare the daunting caverns, be not discouraged by the debilitating falls,

Dust yourself off, stand up tall, and hold your head true,

Fortified by what I tell you to be altogether undeniable,

That all is perfectly as it ought to perfectly be.

So fare thee well, till in time face to face we meet again,

But not for just the toil of the little left to be made,

Help I will beloved, and just remember,

That the purest of lights do so undo, the horrors of the shade.
